Psalm 1152

Lord, guide me—
for I'm wandering through my life.
I'm like a hiker without a compass,
circling in a dark woods,
alone and afraid.
Show me the way through the forest of my heart.
Point out the road abandoned long ago
or take me beside a river that flows to the sea.
I don't ask for the destination,
or even a map.
Your finger pointing,
is direction enough for me.
Your hand on my back,
the courage I need.
